Starting August 4, 2008 the Department of Natural Resources offices and other state agencies will operate on extended hours to better serve your needs as part of Governor Huntsman's "Working 4 Utah" initiative. Our offices will be open Monday - Thursday 7 a.m - 6 p.m. Closed Fridays and on State Holidays.

We promote Utah's healthy forests, rangelands and watersheds for its citizens and visitors using multiple-use, sustained yield principles, by providing forestry assistance, managing wildland fires, strengthening wildland/urban interface principles and by administering the Public Trust on sovereign lands.
