Request For Proposals

The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands requests proposals for land use projects on a corridor of land that crosses Utah Lake from Vineyard to north Pelican Point. A bridge across the lake has been proposed and the Division is seeking competing bids. Proposals are being solicited for development projects that will relate to the presence of the lake and its ecological systems, and ensure that the lake’s value as a recreational amenity is preserved. Proposals are due no later than Wednesday March 31, 2010. The Request For Proposal document also includes a legal description and some maps.

Utah Lake Private Boat Dock/Pier Withdrawal

On December 1, 2011, the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands implemented a withdrawal of sovereign lands at Utah Lake from the permitting of boat docks/piers for private, residential use in order to amend the existing Utah Lake Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP) to address this issue. The withdrawal is effective for a period of 9 months or at the completion of the CMP amendment process, whichever is less, unless extended by the Director. Please review the Director's Agenda titled "Withdrawal 9900006" for further information regarding this decision.
