Advisory Council

Membership Information

The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands' Advisory Council is composed of 11 members who study natural resource issues involving forestry and state lands and recommend courses of action. Members represent various interests ranging from industry to sporting and environmental concerns.

Advisory Council members provide valuable insight in formulating policy and advising the division on actions it might take.

Advisory Council members are appointed by the governor for 2 to 4 year terms and meet quarterly.
